The tram line 109 is accessible within 5 minutes by foot. Hauptbahnhof Essen (Main Station Essen) offers a number of S and U-Bahn (subway) lines and can be reached by tram line 109 from Kieler Straße, changing line at Porscheplatz within 25 minutes.
